The website
This site is something new for me. I´ve always preferred the old style of communication. But it just seemed to me that this is part of the path of an artist, or creative person looking to survive in his or her artlife. I see this as a portfolio, where my work*link can be shared and organized in a practical way for me and whoever is interested.

Although I didn't study cinema, it's the seventh art that's got me the most interested in making my own works. My first realization came as a teen - when I first came across movies such as Taxi Driver or Mulholland dr. that were then a revelation for my eyes. I decided I wanted to learn more about cinema. I started watching the old classics and reading about their directors. Soon after that, I got a job as a trainee in a film production in Sofia. I thought it was time for me to try making my own short film. So I bought a decent camera and shot my first short in highschool, right before graduating. I couldn't get into the film school I wanted to in Belgium, but that didn't keep me away from the passion I had just developed. I continued experimenting, making more short films. I then got into an art school in Brussels, where I could at least be a little closer to film. I spent my last semester in a film school in Buenos Aires as an exchange student. I came back to Bulgaria during summer 2024 with a bachelor in arts and videography, to start working for the film studios in Boyana.
Throughout these years I haven't stopped creating these little projects, perpetually changing and evolving. I see only one way of continuing, and it's to keep giving life to my little, but numerous ideas.

How I see things
Some things keep you awake at night. It´s about the never ending ideas that come to your mind. And you need to let them out - they´re a source of life. And then maybe, if you believe in your projects, and you learn to work with a crew, you can get a little closer to someone - your audience. First there is a need to give in to something we truly believe in, and like everyone, feel productive and let go off a charge inside of us, that would otherwise have us wondering “what the hell am I doing with myself?”. We all have different ways to express ourselves. Art and audiovisual definitely are one way, and a notable one for sure. The goal in a story should always be sincerity. It has to come straight from the heart, with the same energy as it came to your head that one night when you couldn't sleep. I always try to be true to my ideas. It's important to stay confident and keep working on them, enjoy the process, because even if it doesn't turn out great, you know you gave it your all. That's all that matters in the end.
